One of the greatest lessons that many of us have yet to learn is to trust God. As the negative influences of this world try to close in on us, we begin to feel defeated and without hope. We hear what the world is saying and we see some of it happening so doubt creeps in and steals our joy.

But as God’s children, we need to focus on Him and put our faith and trust in Him and not in the world. If God said He will protect us, then He will protect us. We need to build up our faith in God by studying the Scriptures and spending time with Him in prayer. Then God’s peace will flow through us and we’ll enjoy our life and be more productive in sharing His love and truth because we’ll have the assurance that we are His and that God has everything in control.
