One of the things that the hype of the Coronavirus has done is steel joy from so many people and replace their hope with fear. We need to remember that God is in charge. We also need to follow the advice to stay at home so the virus can be quenched instead of spreading. But people are panicking and going on spending frenzies and turning it into an even worse situation. As believers, we will rise above this much faster when we can separate ourselves from the circumstances and remember how much God loves us, how He gave His Son to die for our sins and how He’s coming again real soon to take us Home. That joy should flood our soul and override every fear because truly, the joy of the Lord is the strength we need to get through this. And we will get through it when we fill up with His joy and not with the world’s fear. God is good.
