Often, we will pray and feel as if God does not hear us because we don’t feel or see anything tangible. We must remember, though, that when we pray, we are praying from our spiritual heart, not from our physical being. God said He hears the prayers of the righteous and we know we are righteous because the shed blood of Jesus has taken our sins away and His righteousness covers us.  It’s our faith in God that allows us to pray and believe that He hears and answers our prayers. So let’s build up our faith in God by studying the Scriptures and spending time in prayer and worship. Then we can put our faith to work by giving our issues to God in prayer and being patient as we look for His answer. We walk by faith, not by sight so let’s never forget that God is our Father and that He waits for us to come to Him and trust Him.
