As we look around, it’s evident that the world system is falling apart, and it’s hard to see if God has any control over things anymore. Laws are changed to benefit the rich and sinful and to destroy the poor and innocent. Hatred has become a serious global issue and is inflicting death and destruction to all those who oppose its reasons. The climate changes are bringing terrorizing weather conditions upon millions of people around the world, and the number of those living in absolute poverty is higher now than ever before in history. Technology has invaded every home and Big Brother indeed is watching. Yet, through the darkness of evil, God is calling … and it’s for YOU!

So why doesn’t God just fix things instead of calling us out? Why doesn’t He stop the disease and the poverty? Doesn’t He care?

Yes, God cares, but what can He do when the people have decided that they don’t want Him in their lives anymore? He has been forced out of everything—the schools, workplaces, all public places and even the church. People have chosen to serve the god of this world rather than the God of Heaven and yet, they blame God for everything that is wrong. We need to understand that God is not the one doing these things; let’s put the blame where it belongs and that’s on the devil who’s trying to control our world with sin and corruption. The people of this world are blinded by their own sinful hearts and they follow their leader; that separates them from God.

We are not God’s puppets. We are His children and we can choose to love Him and obey Him—or not. This became evident when Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Their eyes were opened so they knew the difference between good and evil, and they chose to do evil. In doing so, they brought sin into this world, and the eyes of every human born after that were opened with the same ability to choose. God loves us, but He isn’t going to force us to love HIM.

John 3:16 tells us that God loved the world (the people) so much that He gave His own Son to die as a sacrifice for our sins. The only destination for sin is hell, and as we learn in Romans 6:23 , the wages of sin is death. God doesn’t want us to go to hell because of the sin that’s in us, and so He made a way for our sin to be taken away. Jesus left His throne in Heaven to become a man so He could die on the cross and take our sin to hell for us and pay the punishment for that sin on our behalf.

Yet, as the world ages, the people have become more and more evil, more filled with sin and more desiring to serve the lusts of their own flesh as they drift further from God. It wasn’t God who changed; it was mankind. God was and is still Almighty God, and He is letting this world run its course until the day He says, “Stop!” (And that day is very VERY near). God is waiting and hoping that the sinners will realize they need a Savior and will choose Jesus.

We are living in the last hour before the return of Jesus Christ! The world’s system is coming to an end—and it’s going to be a painful and destructive end. God is getting ready to pour out His wrath upon this sinful and corrupt world. He has not lost control; He is still here and living and working through His children, those who believe, love and serve Christ.

The dark cloud over this world is getting thicker, but the light of Christ can still shine brightly when we go forth and do all we can do to share His truth with the lost souls of this world. God does not want a single person to perish; of course, most people will perish because they prefer to live in sin. But we still need to share the truth with them and warn them of the coming night.

Through it all, God is calling sinners to repentance! He is living through believers, and as long as God is alive in us, the truth will get out there. But time is running out! The last trumpet is about to blow and then Jesus will call all of His saints Home.

God is calling His lost children to Him, and He’s working through us to show them His love. No one is going to go to Heaven unless they receive the salvation of Christ. It’s not automatic salvation where everyone is saved. It is very personal and ONLY those who repent of their sin and accept Jesus as their Savior will be saved from the wrath of God to come, and go to Heaven to be with Him forever.

Don’t be deceived! Many people are becoming “Christians” and think they’ll go to Heaven, but they don’t know Jesus and are following a false doctrine.  When they stand before God, Jesus will refuse them because they refused HIM while they were on this earth. We have to be wise and discern the truth from the lies! We can only do that by studying the Scriptures and learning about God and His truth, and about the salvation of Christ. Our goal is for Jesus to welcome us Home, not refuse us because we didn’t know Him.

Is the world going to be destroyed? No, not the world, just the world system with all of its sin and false gods. Our Father created the world and in Genesis 1, He said it was good. He created people and said it was good. God is not going to be defeated by letting sin destroy His world. Instead, He is going to judge sin and destroy it. Jesus our King is going to come at the end of the Tribulation and sit on the throne of David in Jerusalem and rule over the entire world. No more sin, poverty, sickness, loneliness or sorrow.

God is calling and people can answer when they hear His voice, but we need to be that voice! We need to pray for people and tell them about Jesus. We need to stand up for the things of God and call sin just what it is—sin. We need to warn the lost that Jesus is coming soon for those who believe in Him. We must be the watchmen (and women) and let people know that this sinful world is about to receive God’s judgment. Let’s be God’s voice and tell them about Jesus so they can be saved and go to Heaven when God calls us home!
