Don’t be Fooled: Tomorrow Will Come!

timePeople often like to put “things” off until tomorrow. As far as time goes on this earth, tomorrow never comes, so their thinking is in line with this world’s clock. Yet, what many don’t realize is that time is a measure of earth, not of eternity, and it’s running out. The tomorrow that lies ahead for those who don’t know Jesus will come, and it will be their worst nightmare.

Eternity began for us the second we were conceived; it didn’t start with our birth and it doesn’t end with our death.  The concept of time is limited to earth but not to the full scope of life as God intended. Time began when God created the world we live in (Genesis 1) and it will end when the last of the Gentiles is saved (Romans 11:25). In Galatians 4:4 we read that Jesus was born in the fullness of time; exactly when God had appointed Him to be born, and it was then that His plan of redemption came for all of mankind. But time is running out.

In Matthew 24, Jesus told the disciples what the world would be like before He returned to reign as King, and that time is almost upon us. But He also told them that He would return to get them first, and we are living in that time when Jesus is about to call all the believers home.

  • And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.—John 14:3

This is a time of grace. It’s given to all of us to find Jesus and accept Him as our Savior. But many won’t find Him because they are conformed to this world and feel that they are already “good” people and will make it into Heaven. Many others feel that salvation is congeniel to everyone because when Jesus died on the cross, He said, “It is finished.” However, Heaven is beyond this world! If we want to get there when we leave here, we will need to open our minds and our hearts to the fact that Heaven is Holy, God is Almighty, Jesus is the only Savior, judgment is coming, and sin will be punished!

This time of grace is about to end! Those who haven’t repented of their sins and accepted Christ as the One who can cleanse them and make them whole will face Him one day with all of their sins. And sadly, sin has one destination—eternal hell.

  • For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.—Romans 6:23

I am the doorWe will never experience anyone’s love as much as God’s love for us. During our lifetime, God is always trying to get us to accept Jesus. He sends people across our path and provides circumstances, hoping that we will turn from sin and find His salvation. God does NOT want any of us to die lost (John 3:16-17). He gave us HIS son to die on the cross in our place. Then He became the first One to rise from the dead and go to Heaven. Jesus is our door into Heaven! We are His followers. But we must accept His salvation to get into Heaven.

Now when we die, we will immediately go into His presence where we will stay forever! And if Jesus returns while we are still alive, He will call us at the sound of the last trumpet, and our bodies will be transformed and we will be caught up into the air to be with Him. Those who have already died and who are saved will rise first and we will all meet in the air with our new bodies! How wonderful will that be!

  • For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.—1 Thessalonians 4:15-17

When Jesus calls us home, the final countdown for time begins. Grace is over, judgment breaks forth, and horrors and evil will prevail so that the ability to get saved then will be remote. This is why it is so important that we realize the time we are living in. If we look around us, we’ll see that all the signs are becoming reality right before our eyes. Jesus is getting ready to come back!

Jesus-at-the-doorThe time of grace is now! There is no second chance when we stand before Jesus at the Judgment Seat because then He’ll be the judge on the bench, ready to hand out eternal sentences of punishment for our sins. The time to be pardoned is now while Jesus is still our Savior! The time to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior so we can live with Him throughout eternity is NOW!

If you don’t know Jesus, then take advantage of this time and don’t even leave this page until you have cried out to Him and asked Him to take your sins and fill you with His Spirit. As believers, we need to take advantage of every minute and pray for our family and friends to be saved. We need to ask God to send laborers to them and to open their eyes and hearts and minds so they are no longer blinded to the truth, but will realize that they are sinners and in need of a Savior.

There is an urgency in the air! Jesus IS coming soon and we need to be ready. We need our loved ones to be ready. Today is the day of salvation, and while earth’s time is running out, eternity never ends. There won’t be any earthly status, rank of wealth, or pleasure that can come close to the joy and blessing of having someone we love make it into Heaven. On the other hand, if you are living your best life now without Jesus, the things that lie ahead for you are dark and evil, and you will regret throughout eternity that you didn’t receive His salvation.

What the earth is about to endure once Jesus calls us out of here will be a terrifying and demonic time of war that few will survive. We don’t want to risk having our loved ones to go through that because it’s a time of God’s wrath and judgment upon the earth; His time of grace will be over. We must warn them now! We must pray for them and do all we can to show them the truth. Don’t be fooled by the lies of this world; there is a tomorrow coming for those who put off their salvation today, and it won’t be a good one.

  • For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward,  how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?—Hebrews 2:2-3

Choose life! Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and share His gospel with everyone you know while there is still time!
