What day is it today?

“This is the day the Lord has made. We should rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalms 118:24)

If we could focus on that one scripture and realize that today – this minute – is the only true time we have, we would be able to see more clearly the good things that are right in front of us.

Yesterday is gone and we can’t delete, modify or add to it. Tomorrow isn’t here yet and there’s no guarantee that there is even going to be a tomorrow.

Today is what is sure. If you are reading this then you are alive so take a deep breath and shout out.  Today, I’m alive and today I have one more chance to make my life count!

  1. Ronnie, this reminds me of a piece that I think Francis of Assisi said… about “I will pass through this world but once, any kindness that I can do… let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I will not pass this way again.”

Showing Christ’s love and grace each day… even in weakness brings His beauty and strength into the lives of those around us.
